I like the angle its at, it'd be nice if the sky was as dark at top as the bottom
Thank you. Yes I suppose that would be nice when I think about it... but alas I cannot control the clouds.

can you take the same picture with the entire statue this time ? would be nice...

Thank you for this great photo
No, sadly I cannot. For one reason: because I do not live in Mexico City, I live in California, and may never see this statue again ^_^; Also, the position of the statue would not allow for this same angle but with the full statue. (it's on the corner ledge of a small balcony. Standing on the balcony I cannot get far enough away, and standing on the ground I cannot get the same angle).

You can see the full statue from the front here (Miguel).

Thank you for the lovely compliment, and for the fav ^_^

I was looking for a beautiful archangel to do it as a tattoo... I think i found it.

Thanks to you

ps: i don't want the snake to be tattooed :) so your close up is good enough finally
Wow, that's so cool ^__^ Good luck with it!

If you take a look at the descriptions of any of the earlier angel statue photos, it gives the whole back story. I thought it seemed to redundant to post it under every single one. It's at the Basilica de Guadalupe in Mexico City, a huge religious landmark of the entire country, holding an incredible relic.

Actually, if you happen to be interested, this is where I posted the full story: Holy Ground
